The room is nice and comfortable. Good value for money.
We thought that the location isn't too far from the De Koog centrum. It's a bit too far from the city and the beach though.

It was a fantastic breakfast buffet and very friendly front desk staff. The bike rental at the hotel and ferry shuttle service were extra convenient. Great value for money.
Dining area was a bit dark for breakfast.

Hotel 2 km out of the Koog. Hotel is modern, with ample parking, good beds. Had a standard room that was as expected. Nice breakfast area and buffet. Nature walks close to hotel.

I liked the complimentary pickup from the ferry. Quality of the breakfast was quite good. Room, had the hotest water I have ever experienced...great.
1) I did not like that after registering we were informed that while they accepted visa, there would be a 3% service charge...it was not mentioned when we booked and luckily we foud an atm machine in town so there was no problem. We don't like surprises. 2) The bike rental was by the day, not on a 24 hr basis. We started our day at about 2 PM so did not get good value...only small disappointment.

Fruehstueck war gut, auch wenn nichts mehr nachgelegt wurde.
Zimmer neben der Sauna dumpf und schwuel trotz kalter Witterung, Aussicht auf den Parkplatz, Matratzen zu weich und duchgelegen, 2 einzelne Betten als Doppelbett zusammengeschoben mit Riesenspalt dazwischen, Bad war nicht sauber (Haare von Vorbewohnern oder der Reinigungsfrau), kein a la carte-Restaurant: nur ein Menue verfuegbar, dass ueberdies vorbestellt werden musste und ab spaetestens 19.00 Uhr einzunehmen war, Rezeptionsmitarbeiterin beim Empfang am Nachmittag wenig verbindlich, an der Grenze zu blanker Unfreundlichkeit.

Quiet location away from the hustle & bustle of De Koog, but only a 25 minute walk or 10 minute cycle ride distant. Smart public areas and plenty of free car parking. Buffet breakfast was of a good standard.
Our standard room was clean, comfortable and functional, but its general ambiance was a little sparse and did not match that of the public spaces.
